Michael Turns 12
Yes, Michael loves apple pie, so rather than a birthday cake, Lisa makes a birthday-pie. We had a great time celebrating his birthday as a family. Oh and yes, we loved the apple pie. Lisa’s pies are absolutely phenomenal.
Michael’s birthday party with his friends was delayed for two weeks due to the tragic loss of 96 Polish leaders in Smoleńsk just three days before. However, finally on the 25th of April, we celebrated with a lot of his friends by playing laser-tag. The kids loved it and Michael had a blast.
Our kids love birthdays and they look forward to them. That is good. Life and relationships are important to celebrate since God gives us these great gifts. Sometimes busyness keeps us from seeing the significance of others and birthdays are great reminders!
