Allowing the Holy Spirit to Shape
This time Lisa could travel with me to Adelboden, Switzerland in the Alps. This picture shows the view we had out the window.
We went there to lead some of our missionaries on a retreat on the topic of spiritual formation and practices that really focus on interacting with God. Lisa and I also made ourselves available to engage with those interested in receiving spiritual direction, an way of helping people notice God’s activity in their lives.
We shared some disciplines or ways of interacting with God that actually allowed the people present to experience Him though His word, in prayer and reflection. We then gave them opportunity to individually engage with each spiritual practice and afterward gathered to share reflections. The setting made it that more majestic! Thanks for praying.
