Lisa and I had a wonderful week with Michael and Johna in Massachusetts the third week of August. We had a couple of days just helping Johna move, then assisting Michael’s groomsman in getting the church turned into a reception hall. Lisa also took Johna out for a manicure and we had a couple of meals together. Even a meal with a number of groomsman after the reception hall was ready.
The rehearsal and rehersal dinner were wonderful and from my perspective a real blessing to Johna and Michael allowing them to hear of their impact on other’s lives. We had some games and a slide show of how God brought these two into this world and wove their lives together. It also allowed the parents to express how much we enjoyed raising them! God was in it all, as were your prayers, for which we were thankful.
The wedding had a sweet outdoor flare, in a park, next to the Atlantic ocean. All of it was very beautiful. The creative side of Johna showed as did her love for dancing at the reception. We had great food, great dancing, and a wonderful send off for the couple to their honeymoon! Thank you for continuing to support them in their life together with your prayers.
