Listening for What’s Next
We headed off to an 8-day silent retreat. Yes, silent retreat for a time of refreshing, listening, and openness to what God has for us next.
We both wondered what it would be like to spend 8 days like that, and we were blown away by how God met us. Making space for God like that deeply invigorated our souls.
We had to be open that we would not hear anything that was on our agenda, and that is where we started. Yet as the time went, God spoke regarding the “what” and it was a confirmation of spiritual formation and disciple-multiplication.
We just don’t have a “where” yet, or what it might mean for us regarding how ministry will look. God met us powerfully and affirmed how He has developed us and matured us for such a time as this.
When we the retreat ended we discovered how God had led us both in the same direction with the same “what.” Thanks for praying, and please continue to do so as there are a number of conversations around the “where.”
