Christmas 2011
Merry Christmas! We hope you enjoyed the time with family and friends during the holiday. This year it seemed to come up on us very fast. Since it was on a Sunday, our kids got out of school only on the Thursday before, so there was not a lot of down time for them.
We arose not so early, but a little after 8 am. We had a great time listening to the Christmas story, enjoying some great breakfast food and then opening presents. Teens are way different than younger children, but it is all just a ton of fun to watch the joy on their faces.
Mom and dad are only now recognizing how fast time flies -- not just Christmas, but life as we look at our two great kids and see them growing into adulthood almost every day. It is an amazing ride and we’ve learned along the way. God seems to teach us many things through our kids during each phase of their lives.
