Commissioning
June meant entering and completing the final residency of my formal training in spiritual direction. I have enjoyed greatly the process and the cohort with whom I made this journey. I had no idea how God would use this process to deepen my own walk with Jesus as well as develop the ability to better see Him at work in others.
The commissioning actually had special meaning for me, not just because it marked the completion of this portion of my journey, but because I had a sense of God smiling His face upon me in that moment. He did this, not because of who I am or have become, but because He delights in His children. He is a grand lover, which happens to be the reason He sent Jesus on our behalf. I am ever so grateful. Thank you too for praying with and for me as I walked through to the completion of commissioning with Selah.
