Fun after Decorating for Christmas!
We delayed decorating the tree for a while, due to Doug’s shoulder and the kids schedule. The last weekend of November Doug preached at Poznań international Church, and Megan went to a teen missions conference in Dzierżoniów, Poland. And then the kids had some form of competition. Megan took part in an English competition for our province and Michael played in a basketball tournament.
In the midst of it all we did take time to decorate our Christmas tree late one Saturday afternoon. It was the first year for someone other than dad to put the lights on the tree and it was actually a very successful endeavor by Michael. We all put the ornaments on the tree. Dad could actually do that in his one-handed way.
Nothing like a decorated tree to put everyone in a Christmas mood. So we had fun with Santa hats afterwards and then some of the kids friends dropped by. We hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
