Poznań Hosts the Euro Cup 2012
During the third week of June, we had the chance to engage in some prayer-walking with a team that arrived to talk to Europeans who would be in Poznan during the Euro Cup soccer tournament. This is a huge deal and Poznań was one of the host cities. Man did it really transform life in our city (40,000 Irish were here and others like Greeks, Croatians, Germans, etc)!
As the week went on numerous conversations about Jesus and the gospel occurred. Our family all had the privilege to participate in engaging with those who came to cheer their country’s team on to win.
Pray for those with whom we and the team that was hear spoke to about Jesus. We were able to get some contact information, but the some of the places are far away, like Ireland. Of course Piła is a nearby city, and a young man from there named Grzegorz really expressed a desire to know more. Please pray that God continue to prod his heart.
