Enjoying the Ranch!

Learning Ag

A month has passed and Michael has learned much from working on Woodson Ranch. He’s learned to shoot animals that destroy crops, he’s moved a ton of irrigation pipe, he’s pulled weeds and combatted them with biological options (scroll down the page to see the picture).

He’s been on three cattle drives and done some branding. His uncle skilled him up in fly-fishing and he’s had ample driving practice in grandma’s SUV. He got excited over learning how to change a flat tire!

In the midst of it all he managed an emergency room visit and had some stitches for one of his fingers. He took it all in stride. Among the other things he’s learned? He's gotten proficient at doing his own laundry and cooking — what’ll happen next?  He’s had a blast with it all. His internship finishes at the end of July when he’ll join Megan and his mother for some visiting in Texas. Thanks for praying for him.
