God at Work
One of the more serendipitous gifts God orchestrated involved Lisa gaining a new friend. Karolina helped Lisa get access to a new high school for the Lubbock team. Out of that, a neat friendship formed. First, the TCS mission team made an incredible impression on the teachers and the students. Karolina’s son, attends this school and he was greatly encouraged by the team, so much so new opportunities arose for him to share more openly about his faith in Jesus with classmates.
Second, Karolina showed up at each of the evening gatherings for the Polish teens to meet with those from Trinity Christian School. As a result, Lisa and Karolina bonded with some common interests and themes of life. A relationship of spiritual growth, encouragement and mutual mentoring was birthed.
Obviously, God had more plans than we can even comprehend when we partner with Him. This relationship has already been a blessing to both women.
