Sharpening One Another
We had the privilege of hosting 22 CityReach Strategy Leaders for a time of refreshment, refinement, and planning. These men and women do amazing things to reach the cities in which they live, and they want everyone to have a chance to follow Jesus.
Most brought along key national leaders with whom they are working, so we had 53 people present, which makes for quite a large group for this type of meeting.
World-class movement-model church planting and disciple-making trainers led us through the sessions. Steve Smith, Jeff Sundell, Chuck Wood gave us their time and expertise. The latter half of the week concerned listening to the ministries of each leader present, praying, and then sharing feedback that can help take their ministries further toward self-sustaining movement.
I had the privilege of facilitating five of the iron-on-iron sessions and the contributions made by everyone along with the news of how God was working just boggled our minds. We expect much to come from this time in Athens. Thanks for praying!
