They Invited Us to Present
I have to say we walked away surprised, encouraged, and impressed. We had never attended an event like this, much less participated.
We had the opportunity to represent what our ministry has been about in order to communicate to intrested people the impact of the work that GEM is doing throughout the European Continent. We joined some other missionary couples and it was great working with them too.
We wondered what it would be like doing this, and words hardly describe it. The people who gave of their time to come and hear were amazing. They all had hearts to see Europe effectively reached and transformed by the gospel. WE had amaing conversations with them at meals, and love hearing their stories too. I asked a number how they experienced the weekend, and I was quite taken back by the overwhelming experiences that they reported and what God was doing in their lives. All this encouraged us because they felt built-up, encouraged, and invited in as members of the GEM Team. God really surprised us.
Oh, I forgot to mention, God also used what we shared both from the stage and in personal convresations as He did with the rest of the GEMers present. Thank you for praying!
