Curiosity before Deciding
Michael invited us to tag along with him and Johna to visit one of the medical schools he was considering before he made his final decision.
He and Johna flew from Boston to Austin, where we picked them up, then stayed with some great friends before driving to the school for this on-site visit with him.
Well, I think we were all impressed, and loved what we saw and heard — even though Lisa and I mostly listened. We were also impressed that a former Navy Admiral, medical doctor, and professor shared about the school and philosophy. We loved it that it had a significant emphasis on representing Christ in medicine.
We found out a week after the trip that Michael and Johna had made their decision and would be moving to San Antonio! Yeah!
