The Future without MobileMe
As for the next few months, there are a lot of things on the docket, but we won’t have MobileMe to inform you. I’ve posted for SLOT, but there is more: Andrew Beck will be with us and I am taking him to Sweden for prayer-walking and evangelism on June 29, then SLOT, then we’ll prayer walk and share Christ in Poznan. I will take Andrew on a Sabbath with Jesus, then we have the Nichols visiting. Megan goes to Bari, Italy for a Jesus Revolution Summer team. Michael was scheduled for camp, but that fell through, so maybe GEM-K conference in Budapest.
The Olympics will be happening in London, England, and GEM is hosting 361 people on teams before, during, and after, thanks to the leadership of Bryan Doyle. So please pray for people to enter into a discipleship relationship with Jesus and for many who serve on the teams to be stirred to come to Europe as missionaries long-term with GEM. We need many people for the 50-in-5 initiative.
In August we will take a vacation, then return to see the holes in our house (from last year’s water leaks) finally fixed. Yes, it has taken that long to schedule workers. Then we will be hosting the annual street party before the new school year. We hope to be back online by then.
When we decided to start filling you in on life a bit more regularly, we did not anticipate the ending of MobileMe. As of June 30, 2012, this site will no longer be available. I am looking for other hosting sites at a reasonable price, but it is hard to beat free. I am secretly hoping that Apple moves web hosting to iCloud, but there are no rumors to that end.
