A 2-Year Journey Completed
When I asked a colleague on GEM’s spiritual life team (who has the skills and experience) to select and edit the writings for a book of reflections, neither she nor I knew what that would mean. The concept grew as prayer continued. Listening to God along the way meant art and spiritual practices would begin each month, and it led to three versions for publishing, digital, paperback, and hard cover. All in color too.
Having 31 contributors to the book, original art, makes this an amazing resource for daily time with God.
This collection of reflections is a devotional journey to help you notice God’s presence and respond to His loving invitation in daily life. Through real stories from cross-cultural servants, each reflection offers a glimpse into conversations with God — marked by joy, struggle, questions, and wonder.
The reflections in this book flow from the perspective that God radically loves us and desires to be known and to know us; He is with us in a very real way. God interacts with us regularly, yet our awareness of His interactions needs to grow and mature. As that occurs, He continues to transform us into the likeness of Christ.
