Rejoice!
Not to long ago, through one of the people Doug leads in the mission, we heard of around 300 people in an area of Eurasia making a decision for Christ or indicating a desire for further contact. This was a part of an intensive English program. We have to keep this hushed in terms of the location as well as the people because it could affect these missionaries and their tenure in that country. Yet GEM had a role in this as well.
It was great to hear that one of our short-term workers had the special privilege of seeing 7 people in her English class place their trust in Christ. Another two individuals in a small group this person leads made life-changing decisions for Christ during this same time.
We rejoice not only because people are entering the Kingdom of God, but because these ministry victories impact and encourage our laborers to stay and continue to work for the cause of Christ overseas. We are hoping that this worker chooses to do just that!
