Good-byes are Never Easy?
As our HMA (home ministry assignment) tradition has it, we always say good-bye to our home, where so much has happened with friends and family. We had an amazing year. The first half, though, caught us off guard with the level of culture shock encountered. After passing through that phase, life moved into one great moment after the other for our time in the U.S. The greatest problem was the amount of Europe travel that Doug had to do, which impacted our real desire to connect well and more frequently with everyone.
In the midst of it all, we know God led through everything. We have deep gratitude in our hearts for the times we’ve had with you, our family and friends. We look forward to what God has planned in the next few years. Exciting things are happening. Please pray for us as we transition back to ministry in Europe.
