An Overwhelming Experience
Doug flew to Pert, Scotland to facilitate two Selah-Europe Residencies for those desiring to be trained in spiritual direction. This year holds a bit more intensity because the Selah-Europe faculty both graduate interns, with whom we’ve become very close after two years, and then follow it with orienting an entirely new cohort of interns.
It is amazing how things actually work, and we all enjoy watching God deepening each intern’s experience of Himself. By the end of their respective weeks, the interns hardly can find words for what God did in them.
As faculty, we wonder how it actually went for them, and then we get to see in their post-residencies evaluations, a picture that far outshines what we’d imagined. God does so much transformation in one week, that I can hardly stand it. It is truly overwhelming. Thank you for praying for these residencies and the ongoing work the Selah-Europe faculty does in cooperation with God throughout the whole two-year process.
