Sharpening the Focus

Recalibrating

In December the emails went out and the call for prayer and listening to God detailed.  The desire for our time in January entailed opening our hearts before God so that we would be ready to hear anything He had to say.

With the agenda set for two days of meetings, you can imagine the surprise we all had when after a few hours on the first day of meeting, the team knew the planned agenda no longer mattered.  God entered and disrupted, but also made way for a clear outcome for the meetings.

While  we had intended to operate one way, God totally revamped the New Initiatives’ team and sharpened its goal to find 25 catalytic leaders to head CityReach efforts throughout Europe. Now the team is looking for people with entrepreneurial experience, who have built and led teams, but now want to do it to see Christ’s Kingdom expand through Europe in disciple-making movements that result in churches.

Please pray that God would give us insight in this pursuit and success.  It is His work!
