Orientation Included Parents!
The end of August gave us the opportunity to drive Megan almost 2,000 miles to the Boston area so she could start her college career. When we arrived we noticed that Gordon College had organized a really informative and helpful orientation for both international students (Megan is considered one of those) and then regulars. Megan got to enjoy both orientation.
We also had the opportunity to help her set up her dorm room. We did that with Grace’s mother’s phenomenal help. By the way, Grace is Megan’s roommate. So the room went from messy to model environment.
I forgot to mention that Gordon held an orientation for parents too. I grew to really be confident that the college is deeply interested in the development of their students. We left totally assured that God had led Megan to this place and every indication since we dropped her off has remained consistent with this college being a great place for her. Thanks for praying.
