Seeing the Sights
Well, Lisa planned to be at a GEM disciple multiplication training (DMT) in Scotland while Megan was here. So when she realized that, we decided to take trip as a family to London (which we had to fly through to get to Glasgow) and take in a few sights.
Megan and Michael had places they wanted to see, so we took a day trip to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, a little town where they filmed some scenes from Harry Potter, and then on to Bath for some sightseeing. We also took a day around London seeing one of Michael’s favorite sites, Shakespeare’s Theater and many other sites, like Buckingham Palace. We spent another day following in the steps of John Wesley and then with some friends and coworkers who serve in London. It turned into a great little 3 day trip before heading off to Glasgow, Scotland. I don’t think we could have done it if it were not for some very cheap flights. Doing this in January helps, I guess! It was a ton of fun for us all.
