When it is about the ways God advances His Kingdom on earth and encourages those present to live from the basis of His supernatural resources as they make disciples. The pastor and his wife, Richard and Brooke asked us to come and share along these lines for their retreat weekend.
We had a blast and we were very glad to have both Megan and Michael with us. They not only were present, but apparently taught as well. Some of the comments that the end of the retreat had to deal with how people experienced them and their character -- that made both Lisa and I very proud parents, but we recognized, it was God’s work in our kids.
We shared God’s plan for everyone who follows Jesus to go out and love. In that context, it meant to live from both the Kingdom of God worldview and His resources, that everyone was included in God’s plan to see disciples made of His Son, Jesus, and that really was the fulfillment of the Great Commandment. We had break-out session where Lisa led the women and I the men. It was a lot of fun, and the group was a blast!
