Covid Did Not Stop Us
Finally a date! Lhaveisa and I celebrated our 27th anniversary on October 1. We also decided to take public transportation (parking can be expensive), and that requires a mask (Covid restrictions).
We regularly participate in Friday Outreach, but this Friday, we simply went on a casual date, chatted as we walked along the River Main, and ate at a local restaurant.
I can’t tell you how beautiful the river can be at night, but the scenery was great. Lisa and I needed the time together after a very full three months.
What surprised us was a mouse and a conversation at the outdoor restaurant. I mentioned that we usually participate in Friday Outreach, well the mouse initiated a conversation with some Italians dining next to us, which led to a conversation about Jesus. We loved it! God wanted us to engage with a couple curious about life in God’s Kingdom.
We had a wonderful evening, and I have a great wife!
