Vision-Casting via China
Carey does an excellent job networking and as his leader, I had a chance to observe up close. We had been planning to travel together for quite some time. The goal was to vision-cast for church planting movement throughout EurAsia (Carey’s region and a part of Doug’s geographic area) by exposing these pastors to the rapid growth of the house church in China. God is doing amazing things and I wish I could share more detail, but for security reasons I can’t.
However, the trip was a success in that those that were with us really were encouraged to employ a number of ideas in their home countries to see God expand His Kingdom there. This says a lot as many of these men have significant ministries and substantial influence in their own countries already. Yet they were impressed with the simple obedience of the Chinese, the work of the Spirit and the rapid growth of the church there. None of it was rocket science. Prayer, disciple-making, Spirit-leading, and God sovereignly acting.
We’d actually like to see a number of people go and serve in this area and they are coming, but it is a trickle at the moment. The men on this trip would like to see more missionaries come to serve in their nations as well. Please join us in prayer to that end.
