Happy Birthday!
The official anniversary of her birth was Monday, but we celebrated Megan’s arrival into our lives on Sunday. It was a fun and relaxing day. Megan had her favorite breakfast, favorite lunch, opened presents, smiled a lot and had a great day. So did we and we are so thankful to God for having this precious young lady as a part of our lives.
Her friends at church celebrated with her during Sunday School, and yesterday, she celebrated with her school classmates. There’s still a party yet to happen, and it will be this coming Saturday. She’ll celebrate with some of her friends from our neighborhood.
Two significant changes from this past year -- her braces are gone, and she’s now wearing contacts.
It is hard to put into words the emotions you feel as you watch your kids mature. She’s growing up and she’ll soon be on her own. We are grateful she follows Jesus as we know she’s in good hands. We love Megan, and we know she is a gift. Thanks for praying for her!
