Mission GTW
This is the second time Megan has gone to Dzierżoniów. Last year it was to help at an English camp. This year it was to do outreach in that city and Bielawa. Lisa and I hesitated because it is four hours away and we did not know anyone. The year before, Megan had gone with our GEM teammate, Theresa. God was in the mix, though. We are incredibly glad she went.
Here’s what happened. Megan and about 15 other youth participated in a home mission trip sponsored by GTW -- in English it means the Generation Keeping the Faith. They organize teens to do outreach in the summer. This was an outstanding experience for her. She had the privilege of being used by God to lead two people to Christ personally. Aside from that, the group saw a total of 12 youth put their faith in Jesus. Awesome.
It was a great week and almost like sending her to camp, but not exactly. What we loved is the fact Megan has an experience of leading people to Christ. I don’t know what to say about that, other than thanks to God.
