Lisa Flies to Germany

Lisa has been facilitating monthly what GEM calls an onboarding cohort. These are new GEM workers who have only recently landed in Europe and are in the process of setting up life, learning a language, adapting to a new culture, and getting to know GEM.
GEM has gotten a lot better in helping people adjust to the experience of being a missionary. These new onboarding cohorts help people learn to flourish in their new culture with the assistance of GEMers who have been there and done that.
Lisa brings a unique aspect to these cohorts, which as far as I can tell, is greatly appreciated. She has an amazing way of fostering a cross-pollinating conversation when the meetings take place. The organizers have observe that the cohort Lisa facilitates has these new GEMers much more active and honest in what they are going through.
As a facilitator of the cohort, she has to be at their retreat in Germany when it occurs. Lisa hopped a plane and enjoyed the week with these oustanding young people. Thank you for praying!
