God surprised me this year. I just decided we’d take a vacation at Grandma’s Ranch, and then told the kids when. I fully expected schedules to be complicated, but this year — whoa! — they all took the time to be withus together.
We had an incredibly relaxed week. It was Johna’s first time to the ranch, and it was our first as a 5-some there. Megan and Michael hadn’t been on the ranch together since grandma passed away.
We had fun fishing, watching wildlife (including the moose), chatting, playing games, floating the Ruby River, and grilling lots of food. We had a run in with some bats too, but no harm done. We are grateful Grandma gave us continued access to this beautiful space. We love sharing it with our entire family! Thank you for your partnership with us in prayer.
