SLOT Art Festival

We took a short-term ministry team with us and drove about 3 hours south of Poznan a small town where a 650 year-old monastery exists. Each year the SLOT Art Festival finds it’s home there and 5,000 to 6,000 youth (High School and College) turn it into a tent-city. Music all night and unbelievably creative workshops and lectures occur during the day. Most of the workshops are arts oriented. Some touch on Christian and evangelistic themes.

We had a great time engaging with people about Christ and with other Christians we came to know. It was fun watching the kids translate for the team, engage in outreach on their own and with others. In fact, Megan connected again this week with Ola, an unbelieving friend she made while there.
So Please pray for the follow-up. A woman named Kasia was challenged to consider Christ instead of athiesm. Ola’s family was present and we desire to see them put their faith in Christ. Also a man from Kraków named Mateusz also appears to be open to the gospel. We’d like to see these people come into the Kingdom.
