Getting Away for A Birthday
We have great friends in Prague. A few days after Christmas, we drove down to have fun, celebrate Lisa’s birthday, send our kids to France for a GEM-K winter conference, and celebrate the New Year!
Did I mention that our friends planned Lisa’s birthday! Yes, we literally played a mind-maze. Have you ever done that? It is trendy in Europe. You enter a room and have to solve a puzzle of clues that stretch your imagination and intelligence. The maze is timed and we competed with our kids. I won’t tell you who won, but I’ll let you know we didn’t. 
So we celebrated Lisa, had some great carrot cake and later relaxed with our friends. Our kids had snow at Camp of the Peaks in the French Alps. Yes, they did ski, and we had our own fun in Prague!
