Reorganizing for Fruitfulness

We gathered all our regional leaders and field leaders in January in Athens. This year included some restructuring due to sensing the need to emphasize leadership development so we could increase capacity for the new personnel that are applying to GEM.
While God had already been speaking to us about this, the resignation of our President, Henry Deneen, actually caused it to come about much quicker. In order to handle leading our personnel well GEM went to 9 regional leaders.
The main goal focuses on intentionally developing our people’s leadership skill so that they can attain to maximum fruitufulness with the gifts God has granted them.
We did have a side trip — we all enjoyed touring biblical Corinth, and our guide spoke often of the uncanny accuracy of God’s Word as well as the archeological finds that are undermining 21st century skepticism of the Bible. The guide found it funny that archaeologists are discovering things that confirm the Scriptures in the age of skepticism.
