Sharing with P.I.C.
Over the past 6 months, the regular pastor of Poznań International Church has been fulfilling his totalization requirements (something to do with social security -- we have to do this too). So a number of people have been filling the pulpit for Richard as he and his family have been in the U.S.
We had a great time as we shared with the internationals living in Poznań. We’ve done this a number of time over the years, and it has been fun to see the church grow. I enjoy doing it when I can as it allows me the opportunity to share what God is teaching me in English, rather than Polish. That’s not to say I don’t like sharing in Polish, but it is freeing not to worry whether the words you are using communicate all the nuances you have in your heart language are coming across in your second language.
I also enjoyed it because God just drove a little deeper into my heart that He desires inside-out transformation, not just behavior modification, and He wants to bring it about through a deeper experience of Himself. This is life in the Kingdom and it is good!
It was also Mother’s day, and we had a great time celebrating it with Lisa! Megan also made a cake for Lisa and we all enjoyed eating it!
