Role Changes

About a year ago, I started a conversation with Adam, the man next to me in the picture. I asked him what God was doing in his life. I did this because I felt I needed some help in 50-in-5, but also that Adam may be the person to take movement-model disciple-making and church planting to the next level in GEM. He’d been a full-time practitioner and had success both in multi-generational group creation and partnerships with churches.
As we were going through the changes that Henry’s resignation brought, Adam sensed God confirming the move to take 50-in-5 and GEM’s urban strategy. I am more than pleased with his decision. I will continue to serve with Adam in 50-in-5, as well as helping him transition to the point position. Other roles are now on my plate in GEM. I will be leading the Nordic and Baltic Region in GEM and also fulfilling the role of Leader for Spiritual Formation within the organization. This all fits with where God has been taking me, even though I still feel that it is a little much. Pray as the transitions will take a while and that makes us all the more busy. We need to hear Jesus as we move forward. We appreciate your prayers.
