Paris A 50-in-5 City
The first week of September meant that the kids start school and Doug flies off to Paris, France. Yes, Paris is a 50-in-5 city with a CityReach Strategy Leader just beginning the work there, so I spent some time discussing implementation of discipleship multiplication strategies in order to accomplish the task of Kingdom expansion.
We also had a meeting too coordinate with Paris and mobilizing teams to serve in evangelistic efforts along the Tour De France route next year. This is the 100th anniversary of the Tour De France and we thought it might provide a catalytic season to encourage people both toward short- and long-term ministry in France, but also in any of the 50-in-5 cities throughout Europe.
So having said that, we’d love to see you come on a short-term team and consider long-term cross-cultural involvement not only in Paris, or France, but all of Europe with the goal to see multi-generational discipleship leading to church planting movements throughout the continent. Please pray for this, as well as Bill, the Paris CityReach Strategy leader and for Bryan, who is mobilizing the body of Christ toward ministry in our 50-in-5 cities. Pray too that many movements of disciple-making flow from these efforts greatly expanding the Kingdom of God in Europe. are great.
