The 17th Year Arrived
Michael generally wants a simple celebration of his birthday — no fanfare or large parties. This year we gave him just that, a little time with his family, some with our GEM team. He had some individual time with friends too. Lots of calls came his way too.
Oh yes, we ate cake, I mean pie and cake! Michael’s favorite desert happens to be apple pie with vanilla ice cream. So Lisa did her usual and baked a phenomenal pie.
We simply rejoice in God’s gracious gift to us in Michael. Time flies and 17 years have shown Michael to be a colorful, funny, gracious, intelligent, empathetic, godly young man. His parents could not be more proud.
