Homecoming Lord?
We thought it would be tough for third-culture kids (in-between American and Polish cultures, so third) to integrate well in their new school as teenagers. Well, it seems to be going very well. Michael was elected Homecoming Lord, which caught Lisa and me both off-guard. However, I do remember thinking as Michael stood on the field, what do I say should he not win -- then the suspense, relief and shock that he was the one stepping forth to receive the honor.
I just want to thank you for praying for us and our children as we adjust to living again in Texas for this coming year. We believe your prayers have allowed this to be way smoother than we could have imagined.
